Most people that are interested in connecting to the coming sewer system seem to be under the impression that it will be free to connect and they just start making monthly payments for service.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Here are the three areas the customer will be responsible to pay to hook to the sewer:

Upgrade Fees to Your System: $8,250 to $25,000
(Bear in mind these costs were based on 2022 numbers. Do you think they might have gone up some by now?)

SDC Fees: $6,480
(These are the cost EVERY new member of the of the sewer MUST pay to help fund the system.)

Monthly Sewer payment: $68 to $100
(When we run updated numbers we show that this fee would need to be more in the area of $200 to $250 to even cover expenses.)

Total Cost to Hook Up: $14,730 to $31,480
